Among independents, it dropped from nearly two-to-one approval to closely divided.

That's the number that's got to have David Axelgrease and Plouffe grinding their teeth as that's where things are decided in American politics. They better hope the job numbers get better the rest of this year and next although I doubt they will.

I would be delighted to see Axelrod's protege downgraded. I would be more delighted to see Obama ousted in the next election.
